Use the filters in this section to change the way the items in your inventory are grouped, sorted, and displayed in the results.

Group By
- Select Site to show all items at one site, then all items at the next site.
  This reports each site's inventory separately.
- Select Item to show all Sites and Storage Areas with an item loaded, then all Sites and Storage Areas with the next item.
  This might be used to confirm that all of a practice's sites of service have the same items loaded, for example.
Sort By
- Use the drop-down list to sort the results by any of the data elements in the report. Here are a few examples.
  - Sort by Exp Date to help identify expired and soonest expiring items.
  - Sort by Auto Waste to help identify single-dose (SDV) items with Auto Waste disabled.
  - Sort by Override Cost to identify items with a cost override entered.
  - Sort by Total Cost to help identify items with the greatest inventory values.
Show partials in
- Dispensing Unit means each item's inventory count is represented by two numbers.
  - Quantity - Number of Inventory Units (e.g., vials or syringes)
  - Partial - Number of Dispensing Units (e.g., mg or mL)
- Inventory Unit means the inventory Quantity is displayed as a single value with any Partial represented by a decimal.
  For example, if your inventory has 150 mg of an item that comes in 100 mg vials, it is shown as a Quantity of 1.5. This represents one and one half Inventory Units of the item.
Only positive quantities
- When checked, shows only items with inventory counts that are not zero in the Lynx system.
  Use this setting for comparing inventory quantities when doing a hand count, so only the items you are counting are listed.
  For practices that transfer items to another Lynx site to treat patients at a satellite location, check this box if any unused drug must be transferred back at the end of the day. Only items with inventory on hand will be included, helping to identify the items to be transferred back.
Minimum Drug Cost
- When checked, shows only drug items over a specific Item Cost or Override Cost.
  A value must be entered in the Minimum Drug Cost field.
Custom Format
- Click Select Columns to change which columns are included in the report, whether on-screen, printed, or exported to Excel (click round arrow for 2nd example image).
  Each user's Column Selection, Group By, Sort By, and Show partials in settings are retained for the report until the user selects different settings.
