About the Item Master
The Lynx Item Master formulary contains thousands of items that can be loaded to your Lynx formulary, including items that can be purchased from several McKesson fulfillment systems as well as many items that are not available for purchase from McKesson.
Search Current Inventory
Before loading an item to your site's Lynx formulary, it is recommended to search for it via the Inventory List on the Inventory Administration page to make sure it is not already loaded for your site.
Items Already Loaded
The Inventory List displays matching items already loaded to the Lynx facility's formulary.
The Name/Brand Name column displays the generic and brand name of each item as well as drug strength and vial size.
The Manufacturer/Catalog #/Material # column displays who makes the item as well as McKesson's internal item numbers.
The Item Code/GTIN column generally displays the item's NDC and the Global Trade Item Number when available.
The Item Master Tab
If the item to be loaded is not listed on the Inventory List, click the Item Master tab to see available items using the same Item Search Criteria.
By default the Item Master tab displays items with a Current Price in Lynx.
