About the Inventory List

As Lynx is an inventory management system, many of the application's central features can be accessed via the Inventory List, including the configuration and management of inventory items kept in your site's Storage Areas.

  1. To access the Inventory List, select Inventory Admin from the INVENTORY drop-down menu.

Go to the Inventory List to perform tasks related to inventory.

  • Configure how items behave in the Lynx system, such as enabling Auto Waste for a single-dose vial (SDV) item or enabling Track Lot # by item.

  • Update the Exp Date field with the soonest expiring date for items.

  • Account for non-billable Waste.

  • Manually Restock an item (e.g., when an electronic packing slip is not available).

  • Add an item to the CART for purchase via Lynx.

  • Delete items no longer needed from your inventory.
