To associate a Clinical Trial with the dispense, select the trial from the drop-down list.

If a Clinical Trial is not listed, click NEW to add the trial right away, so you can continue with the dispense (requires Clinical Trial permission set to Update).

When adding a Clinical Trial category item to be dispensed for a patient, the Clinical Trial field is automatically populated with the associated clinical trial and cannot be changed unless the Clinical Trial category item is completely removed from the dispense.
